Admission requirements
The Academy offers a range of courses, tailored to meet the needs and requirements of individuals from which students can move on to courses of higher education or full time employment.
Entry requirements:
Silver Pathway - 6 GCSEs grade C or above including Maths and English (some subjects require a grade B)
Purple Pathway - 5 GCSEs grade C or above - including at least one in Maths or English
- if Maths or English GCSE have not been achieved a re-sit will be included in this programme
Referral Pathway - Below 5 GCSEs at grade C
All students will be expected to do academic enrichment, engage in leadership opportunities or participate in the mentoring programme throughout their Sixth Form experience.
If the number of applications exceeds the Sixth Form capacity the post 16 admissions policy will be implemented which is available on Kettering Science Academy website.
