Our Student Council is the student voice of the Academy, with students representing the interest of their House groups within the academy and as nominated representatives of Kettering Youth Council.

Each House council is composed of a Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 representatives from each form in the House.

The House captains, who chair the House councils, along with the Head Boy and Head Girl meet with the Principal to talk about up-coming items for discussion and feed back the student voice from the House councils. In the absence of the House Captain, the Vice House Captain will take on this role.

House councils will meet at least termly and more often if there is a particular issue or item of interest.

House Captains will shortly take part in some leadership training to help them in this important role.
