Students donate Christmas hampers

During the run up to Christmas students from Year 7 and 8 were asked to take part in a Christmas hamper competition.

During the run up to Christmas students from Year 7 and 8 were asked to take part in a Christmas hamper competition. Students had to bring in food and come up with a creative design for their hamper. Form 7RRD won the competition for their ‘Santa stuck down a chimney’ design.

On the last day of term Year 7 and 8 representatives delivered the hampers to the Four Seasons Day Centre.

Year 7 Progress Leader Grace smith said ‘The staff and visitors were overwhelmed with the delivery and invited us to stay for tea, squash and biscuits. The students even got involved in the curling activity going on!

‘The time and effort pupils and staff put into the hampers was unbelievable and it was a very proud moment for me delivering these to the community on behalf of KSA.’

Lee Price, Centre Organiser ‘On behalf of the staff/volunteers and clients we would just like to thank Year 7 and 8 students for their kind and thoughtful hampers. The clients were thrilled and extremely appreciative, it was a tremendous surprise and they haven’t stopped talking about them.’
