Creative Efforts In Art Challenge

Some imaginative pieces of artwork were produced when Year 9 students took on a unique challenge.

Art Teacher Neela Haywood supplied each student with an envelope containing an image and a selection of materials.

They were challenged to create a piece of artwork using the picture and materials as a starting point.

The stimuli included a photograph of Kettering's Market Place, a length of wire and a 10-minute ICT pass.

Year 9 then selected the best piece of artwork in their group through a peer assessment.

Jerome Hudson (pictured) and Haydn McCann were voted for by their class as the art challenge winners.
