Athletes picked to represent Kettering Science Academy at a district athletics competition proved to be great ambassadors for the Academy.

Six students took part in the event at Kettering Leisure Village on Wednesday (May 11th) and there were some excellent results.

In the under-15s category, Lorna Milne achieved a trio of successes, coming 1st in hurdles, 2nd in the 100m and 3rd in long jump.

Chris Mears came first in javelin and 2nd in triple jump.

In the under 17s section, Lucy Hatton came 1st in the 100m while Jordan Lovell achieved 3rd place in the 800m.

Well done to all those who took part.
