Li Wang is studying for an MBA in Northampton and is the badminton partner of Head of House Rosemary Reid. He has been working with members of the Badminton Club, which is run by Andy Brown and meets every Wednesday afternoon.

Mrs Reid said: "In China, badminton is like what football is to us - it's their main sport. Li has been coached to a very high standard."

Mr Wang has also been coaching some A level PE students.

There are now more than 30 after-school clubs for students to choose from, including Rock School, Guitar Club, Warlords, Film Club, Photography Club, Cliffhangers book club, Astronomy Club, football, basketball, netball and rugby clubs, plus lots of after-school study groups.
