Two Students Accepted for Science Master Class at the University of Cambridge

Year 11 students Mason Hoath and Joanna Steczynska will attend a residential course at the University of Cambridge to take part in a science master class.

Science teacher Louise Oliver nominated them for the course because they have demonstrated a talent for science and have consistently achieved high grades in their modular examinations.

They will attend St. Catherine's and Pembroke Colleges (pictured) for the three day residential course, which is being run by teachers, lecturers and trained university students.

The programme is designed to encourage the brightest students to further develop their interest in the sciences in a stimulating environment and in the company of like-minded people.

University staff aim to show participants that the University of Cambridge can offer an exciting and accessible experience to bright young people from any background.
