Special Send Off for Da Vinci Year 11s

Da Vinci said goodbye to its Year 11 students as they prepare for their final GCSE exams.

Each form within the house made a different gift for the older students. Presents included a CD with songs chosen to represent each of the Year 11s and commemorative t-shirts and mugs. Also handed out during the special assembly were fridge magnets, paper weights, chocolates and key rings.

Head of House Hazel Dodd said: "They have been an amazing year group - I think they're our most successful Year 11s yet. We wish them all the best with whatever they go on to do."

Charlie Massie said they were touched by the efforts of younger students and the thought that went into their gifts. She said: "It was a lovely and thoughtful thing to do. I'm going to college next year and although I'm excited, I'm sad to be leaving KSA. The best thing about it has been the people and the teachers."
