Two KSA students have had their short stories published in a book alongside other students' work from throughout the East Midlands.

Year 9 student, Charles Wilson and Year 8 student, Pranav Sudheesh entered the A Twist in The Tale writing competition for the region and their 100 word stories were lucky enough to be chosen to appear in the complete book of short tales.

Pranav’s story is entitled The Golden Duck, and he said: “It is a story with something unexpected happening in it.”

Charles said: “My story is the tale of Frankenstein with a twist.” His story is called Frankenstein’s Inner Monster.

Both stories can be found in the A Twist in the Tale –Tales from the East Midlands book which is now on general release and both KSA students’ stories can be found on page 91.

Both students said they were happy their stories had been chosen to appear in the book.
The students were awarded with certificates and bookmarks for having their stories published, and also received Principal, Paul Davies’ Pen award in recognition of their achievements.
