Second Parent Consultation Meeting

Parents are being invited to a second Consultation Group meeting later on in the month allowing them to air their views on the Academy.

Parents are being invited to a second Consultation Group meeting later on in the month allowing them to air their views on the Academy.

The meeting is for parents of students in Years 7, 8 and 9 and is to be held at KSA on Thursday, 17th July, 5pm-6pm.

Invite letters have been sent out to parents to attend the meeting and have their say on the Academy’s development.

Principal, Mr Paul Davies said: “The purpose of the group is to enable parents to play an active role in the growth and development of the Academy.
“The group will therefore act as a forum for parents to make suggestions to me and the Chair of Governors, Steve Barton, about how we could improve the Academy. “

Mr Davies added: “All parents and carers are automatically members of the Parent Consultation Group and we will hold meetings throughout the year for parents of all year groups so all parents will have a chance to be part of this forum.”

Parents with any items that they would like to submit for discussion at the meeting are being asked to email suggestions to Mr Davies PA, Amy Brooks.  Please email her at:  ABrooks@ketteringscienceacademy.org

A formal agenda will be circulated to parents one week before the meeting and minutes of the meeting will be made available via the website.

Please visit the website letters page to find a copy of the invitation letter and attached acceptance slip to be returned ahead of the meeting.
