Interest Growing For Challenge Trip

Interest is growing for the next Camps International challenge trip in 2016.

Interest is growing for the next Camps International challenge trip in 2016.
More than 10 students have shown their interest in taking part in the next trip to Peru in 2016.
Last month a meeting was held for interested students and their parents and 10 students signed up fully with another 10 showing a strong interest.
Students are now planning the ways to raise the money needed for taking part in the trip,  which will see the students being involved in a variety of community projects whilst in Peru.
Maths teacher and one of the lead organisers for the trip, Miss Anna keen said: “After a brilliant fundraising meeting, where students got to share their crazy and creative ideas, students have already set off to start their fundraising efforts. We have so far got a guess the weight of the Christmas cake competition, a Year 7 and 8 Christmas prom and cake sales due to start next week. Students are even planning on completing the three peaks challenge dressed up as llamas! We have fundraising meetings straight after school on a Thursday. Anyone who is interested, but hasn’t paid a deposit is urged to come to the meetings.”
