Healthy eating and exercise are the themes of the library's latest display part of its Health and Well Being information section.
The display window in the Secondary Phase’s library at Kettering Science Academy is focussing on encouraging healthy eating and regular exercise, to help individuals to feel better.
It is also promoting National Obesity Week, which is aimed at raising the awareness of obesity as an increasing problem in the UK.
As part of the week the National Obesity Forum is asking for people to make small life changes, including looking at their diets and their lifestyle choices to feel healthier.
Head librarian at KSA, Heidi Economou said: “We are keen to promote healthy life choices to the students and staff at the Academy and also to promote the awareness of obesity as a growing problem in the UK. Obesity Awareness week is this week and runs until 18th January. The aim of the national campaign is for people to make a healthy New Year’s resolution and the slogan for the week is: ‘let’s turn obesity around!’”
The library display features leaflets and books about healthy eating options and exercise.
