More parents than usual attended the most recent Parent Consultation Group meeting held before the end of term in the Secondary Phase.

 

More parents than usual attended the most recent Parent Consultation Group meeting held before the end of term in the Secondary Phase.
A number of parents were present at the evening meeting held on Tuesday, 20th
October and a range of subjects were discussed to do with the Academy and its future developments.
Principal at Kettering Science Academy, Mr Paul Davies said: “It was great to meet so many of you at our meeting where we had some full and interesting discussions about how we can improve further.”

Topics discussed during the meeting included: The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, Year 9 Options and Career Advice, ePraise - our awards system, homework, the reporting of data and staff issuing catch-ups.
Mr Davies added: “The purpose of this meeting is all about better communication with parents about the direction we are taking and these discussions are very helpful.”
The Parent Consultation Group meetings are open to all parents/carers of students at the Secondary Phase to attend and parents are invited to suggest topics for discussion for future meetings.
