Remembrance Assemblies

Two Remembrance Day assemblies were held in the Secondary Phase yesterday, Wednesday, 11th November for staff and students to remember the fallen soldiers of World War One and Two and other conflicts.

Two Remembrance Day assemblies were held in the Secondary Phase yesterday, Wednesday, 11th November for staff and students to remember the fallen soldiers of World War One and Two and other conflicts.
The assemblies were held at 10.45am and 11.15am in the main hall at the school and a two minute silence was observed at both which were followed by a performance of the Last Post.
The current Brooke Weston Trust Combined Cadet Force Students from KSA were also standing to attention throughout the assemblies in their full army cadet uniforms as a mark of respect for the Remembrance Day proceedings.
The assemblies were led by Vice Principal, Mr Tony Segalini who talked about the Battle of the Somme.
