Are You A Poet and You Don’t Know It?

Try something new by entering KSA’s poetry competition to mark National Poetry Day on October 7th.

The competition is open to poets of any age and there is no set theme for entries.

Poems must be no longer than 20 lines and must be handed in to the library by Tuesday, October 5th, with a name and form on.

The winner will be announced on October 7th, to coincide with National Poetry Day.

Librarian Juliet Walsh said: "Judges will be looking for good imagination and the clever use of words.

"This competition is open to anyone and poems don't have to rhyme."

The prize will be announced but the winning entry will be published in the next issue of Under the Microscope.
