The Year 13 Literature students are off to the British Library on Monday 20^th October to use original manuscripts, on display in the British Library’s Treasures Gallery, to explore a range of approaches to reading, beginning with a discussion about the significance of reading and their own personal response to a given text. The group will then explore a variety of theoretical approaches, from Feminist to Marxist, and debate the ways in which this can affect their appreciation of the text.
