The Academy will be hosting a Harry Potter Night in the library on Thursday 2nd February. Students will be able to participate in a quiz and lots of other Harry Potter themed games.

During the annual event Harry Potter parties take place all over the world as a celebration of the franchise. Last year KSA fans participated in games such as tasting Bertie Bott’s -every flavour jelly beans, guessing mystery objects in bags, apple bobbing, whacking the Dementor, taking their fortune predictions from Trewleney’s fortune box and eating a feast of wizardry wonders.

Head Librarian Mrs Heidi Economou said: “It was a magical evening, the students involved fully embraced the event by dressing up and got into the spirit of the themed games. It’s lovely to see that the magic of Harry Potter carries on into new generations of fans.

This year’s event is open to all year groups and promises to be another fun packed evening. The theme is ‘The professors of Hogwarts’ and students are encouraged to dress up for the occasion.

Those wishing to attend must sign up in the library, as there are only 20 places available on a first-come first served basis.
