Due to the success of the student Bake Off competition we held in school, we decided to host a one-off staff competition.

The staff were tasked with creating a bake that represented a childhood memory. Bakes included a 18^th birthday cake, a banoffee pie and a lemon drizzle cake.

After an extensive judging session, Dr Kirk and Mrs Farrar were pleased to crown Miss Bancroft as star baker whilst Mr Smit received the wooden spoon award for his attempt at making a tart.

Ms Wills said: Much fun was had by all and it was great to see so many staff drop in and cheer on colleagues. I think this is definitely something we will be making an annual event.’
