Great fun was had at a winter themed party held in the Library for all the student librarians and reading mentors earlier this week.
The young helpers were invited to the library for celebrations on Tuesday, 17 December during CAPS time in recognition of all their help during the term.
As part of the party students were challenged to create a snowman out of a fellow student. A student from each group volunteered to be wrapped up in toilet roll and had eyes, nose, buttons, hat and scarf attached to them.
The winning snowman and the team of creators won a prize.
Head Librarian at KSA, Mrs Heidi Economou said: “The party was great fun. The snowman making challenge went down really well and the snowmen that were created looked fantastic. We wanted to hold the event to say thank you to all the student librarians and reading mentors for all their help over the last term and to show our appreciation for all they do to assist students and staff in the Academy’s library.”
