World Cup Fever

Football mania came to KSA when the Primary Phase held a World Cup Parade.

The celebration, which was attended by parents, kicked off with an Indian-inspired theme by Year 5.
Next followed Year 4 with their Australian theme complete with cork hats.  Year 3 represented Brazil with their Mardi Gras parade complete with a lion and peacock float.
Year 2 was the host country - South Africa - with South African-inspired dresses and tunics.  Year 1 performed a cheerleading routine inspired by the USA, while Reception paraded doing the Can-Can.
Last but by no means least, was the Nursery's parade complete with handkerchiefs on their heads to represent England.  To finish the show Year 6 sang the World Cup anthem 'Wavin Flag'.
Year 3 Teacher Melissa Warman said: "Thank you to all who supported the children by coming to watch - only four more years until the next one."
