Dancers from Years 7 to Year 11 are getting ready to take part in an inter-schools dance showcase event at Brooke Weston next week.
The students have been rehearsing hard at Kettering Science Academy in their spare time and after school perfecting their dance routines ready for the event next Thursday, June 18th.
There are four students from Year 7, six from Year 10 and three from Year 11 taking part in the event organised by the Brooke Weston Trust, which will also feature performances from students at Corby Business Academy and Brooke Weston.
The KSA students will be performing one contemporary routine, one street routine and two exam pieces, which the Year 11 girls will be showcasing as part of their GCSE Dance.
Teacher of PE at KSA, Hannah Fox said:  “The students taking part have been working extremely hard after school. They have displayed great talent by choreographing their own routines, showing excellent levels of commitment through extra rehearsals. They are a credit to the school.”
She added: “The Year 11 students will be showcasing some of their GCSE dance exam performances. The audience can expect a variety of dance styles from KSA, Brooke Weston and CBA including contemporary and street dance.”

The show starts at 7pm next Thursday at Brooke Weston,Corby. Tickets are £3 each and can purchased from the main reception at KSA.

The students taking part are: Jazmin Eady, Lily Newstead, Anna Smith and Jasmine Butcher (Year 7) , Esther Osewa , Tanya Kuveya , Kayleigh Troutman, Leona Simms, Diamond Smith  and Sophie Tucker (Year 10) and Megan Keech, Katy Herring and  Lottie Pedwell (Year 11)
