There are still places available on the Academy's history trip to the battlefields in Ypres and the Somme in March 2016.
The trip has been organised as part of the World War One centenary year from the week beginning, 21st March 2016 and is available to any student from Years 9, 10 and 12.
During the visit students will be visiting the main battle sites in Ypres and in the Somme. They will also get an insight into the destruction that the war had on Europe and the effects that still live on today.
It also provides a unique opportunity as the trip takes place in the 100thanniversary year of the start of World War One.
The cost of the 3 day and 2 nights visit is £260 which includes for all the coach transport, full board accommodation, trips and guides.
A deposit of £50 is required to secure your child’s place on the history trip and needs to be paid by Friday, 6th November.
Payments can be accepted in school or via WisePay, which can be accessed via the KSA website.
Any questions about the trip can be emailed to Miss Franklin: nfranklin@ketteringscienceacademy.org
