Cuddly Toy Tree

Staff at in the Secondary Phase are being asked to donate cuddly toys for a Christmas tree with a difference for the Academy.
Staff in the Secondary Phase are being asked to donate cuddly toys for a Christmas tree with a difference for the Academy.
Organiser of the project is staff member for the reprographics department, Mrs Mellissa Billingham, who has decided to create a Christmas tree made out of soft toys and for the toys to benefit young patients who visit Kettering General Hospital's Skylark ward.
Mrs Billingham said: “My inspiration to create the tree, made out cuddly toys,  came from seeing the current Disney toy Christmas tree at St Pancras station in London.  I am looking to create the tree for the Academy with a variety of cuddly toys and then after Christmas we will, as a school, be donating all the toys to the children's ward at Kettering General Hospital.”
Staff are being asked to aid Melissa’s idea by donating any suitable cuddly toys that they might have at home and are happy to be donated to the Children’s ward afterwards.
Melissa has asked for any soft toys to be given to her in the reprographics office at the school.
