Prince's Trust Stall

Our Prince’s Trust students held a successful Easter gifts stall.

Our Prince’s Trust students held a successful Easter gifts stall.
During the last week of term the Academy students set out their stall in the Secondary Phase’s reception area after school and sold cakes, chocolate lollies and baskets of Easter biscuits.
They also arranged a Year 7 Easter egg hunt in the library and ran a ‘Guess the Name of the Teddy’ competition.
Teaching assistant, Mrs Alison Upson, who works with the Prince’s Trust students, said: “The students raised a total of £70 from the Easter stall which will go towards a trip for their teamwork unit part of their Prince’s Trust Certificate.”
She added: “The students would like to say a big thank you to everyone that came along and bought some of their goodies. The winner of the 'Guess the Name of the Teddy’ competition was Abigail Lane in Year 8 who correctly picked the name Bertie.”
