A group of our staff members had great fun taking part in a Pretty Muddy event earlier this month in aid of Cancer Research UK.
The ladies who work in the Secondary Phase ran a distance of 5k and negotiated their way around a course of obstacles at Abington Park in Northampton part of the Race for Life series for 2016.
On Saturday 4th June the head of performing arts, Miss Julia Mallard, head of years 10 & 11 and drama teacher, Mrs Amanda Doherty, the head of maths, Miss Lorraine Taylor, maths teacher, Miss Anna Keen, PE teacher, Miss Angela Charlton and vice principal, Mrs Kirsty Farrar took part in the Pretty Muddy challenge.
The whole KSA team agreed they had a great time at the event and ended up getting quite muddy in the process but all in the name of a good cause.
Miss Taylor said: “We all had a fantastic time at the event. We all made it around the park and over the obstacles together as a team. There was a great atmosphere on the day and we all enjoyed getting very muddy in aid of such a good cause.”
