This year, we will once again be making Christmas hampers, which will then be delivered to the children’s’ ward at Kettering General Hospital in time for Christmas.

Year 8 students have been busy putting together hampers in their form time for the children at KGH. These will then be delivered by a group of our students to the hospital on Tuesday 19th December. They will then be given a tour of the ward and have the opportunity to meet some of the children their gifts will be given to.

Head of Year 8, Mr Liam Feely said ‘We make Christmas hampers every year to help the local community. This year we have decided to give our hampers to the children at KGH in the hope that we can put a smile on their faces as they go through this tough time this festive season.’

Thank you to everyone who has donated items for the hampers already. If you wish to make a donation, we are looking for items that are suitable for children from the age of 0-17. Stocking fillers such as felt tips, socks, toy cars, colouring books, gloves, lipsticks, deodorants, cosmetics, rattles and other baby stuff are greatly appreciated and we expect no more than £2 to be spent per item.
