Community-Spirited Pupils Help The Elderly

Hampers filled with treats were delivered to a group of elderly people thanks to the efforts of students at KSA.

Each House was challenged to make two Christmas hampers for people who use the Four Seasons Day Centre in Kettering.

Some Forms decided they wanted to make their own individual hampers too, so a total of 16 were dropped off at the centre just before Christmas.

Pupils Matthew Donlevy and Luke Doughty went along to dish out the hampers after working hard on theirs and bringing in lots of things to go in the boxes.

Teacher Jenny Brackwell, who helped to organise the project, said: "The two ladies who met us were thrilled with their hampers and were very surprised as they were not expecting it."
