Dedicated Website For BTEC Sport Students

A website has been set up to offer online support and resources for those studying BTEC Sport.

Level 2 and Level 3 students can use the website to get help from tutors and classmates.

PE Teacher Lee Haywood set up the site and he said: "The site is intended to be used as a tool to aid students' progression through their BTEC course.

"All course materials will be placed on the site including assignment briefs, deadline dates and information relating to the units of work."

The website will be updated on a weekly basis - students should speak to Mr Haywood for their log-in details.

To visit the website click here or there is a link under the Student Life tab at the top of this web page.

Those studying for the BTEC extended certificate in Sport have the opportunity of further help with Miss Charlton's Year 10 BTEC Coursework Improvement Club.

The group meets on Wednesdays from 3.20pm to 4.30pm in MA2.

It is an opportunity for pupils to have one-to-one support with Miss Charlton or they can catch up with any work missed.

It also gives pupils on the borderline a chance to go from a fail to a pass, a pass to a merit or a merit to a distinction.
