Geography Field Trip: The Changing Shape of Coastlines

GCSE geography students are heading to Norfolk next month to carry out studies of the coast.

The group will spend two nights at Overstrand Hall Kingswood Centre in the north of the county and will visit four beaches to examine issues such as erosion and protection.

Their studies will include beach profiles and slump analysis and in the evening, they will write up their results and produce graphs.

There will also be time for activities at the centre, such as archery, trapeze jumping and a blind assault course.

Parents whose children are going on the trip are invited to an information evening on Thursday 24thJanuary from 6pm to 7pm.
