A KSA’s colleague’s Pink Friday event for breast Cancer was a great success and raised more than £300.
Mrs Melissa Bingham, who works in the Secondary Phase’s reprographics department, was one of the organisers of a ladies night event that took place last Friday, 10th October at the Burton Latimer Cricket Club.
On offer at the event were a host of stalls from jewellery and fashion accessories to gifts, vintage inspired home décor and original craft artists selling their wares.
There was also refreshments available including an array of home-made cakes. Some guests were also treated to pampering treatments with shoulder and feet massages being offered.
Mrs Bingham said: “It was an extremely successful and enjoyable evening. I would like to thank everyone again to who came out to support our Breast Cancer Pink Friday Ladies Night. The total raised so far is a fantastic £346 for the charity.”
The event in Burton Latimer was part of an on-going campaign during October to get organisations and groups of people together to hold a pink themed event to raise funds and awareness of breast cancer and the charity’s work.
