"We had 12 students enter the contest this year and it was a really fiercely fought competition to get to the final.
"For the first time at the Bake Off some of our products are gluten free because one of our students is from a gluten free family and the dishes they have produced have been superb.
"I'm very proud of all our students. They have done fantastically well.
"We also had a lot of support from our Art department and our Resistant Materials students who made the display for our afternoon tea."
Last year's winners, Corby Business Academy came second, Brooke Weston Academy third and Thomas Clarkson Academy came fourth.
