A group of our Year 9 Students performed well at a recent inter-trust sports festival hosted by the Brooke Weston Academy.
Twelve students, six girls and six boys from KSA attended the event on Tuesday 8th December and took part in an after school basketball contest organised for the trust schools.
KSA’s boys’ team came second in their competition and the girls came third.
The overall winners were Corby Business Academy.
Head of the PE department at KSA, Mr Lee Haywood Said: “ The year group festivals are being organised to give students who do not always get involved with team sports events a chance to participate and all the students that took part performed really well.
“Three of our Young Leaders also went along to help with the running and organisation of the event.”
Director of Sport for the Brooke Weston Trust, Kirstie Smith said: “The event was a great success, with students thoroughly enjoying the experience of representing their school and playing against students of a similar level.”

The other schools that took were:  Brooke Weston Academy, Corby Technical School and Corby Business Academy.
