A group of our Year 12 students shared their AS level performing arts production with fellow Year 10 students earlier this week.
On Tuesday morning, 10th May Year 12 students, Megan Keech, Lauson Kenyon, Gemma Liggins, Jordan Ayre and Georgina Freeman performed their own adaptation of the play Dissocia.
The students performed the play that takes the audience to the crazy world of Dissocia and joins the main character Lisa on her journey as she searches for the lost hour.
The group of students provided an energetic and lively performance of the play which explores the world inside the head of a person suffering from mental illness and introduces the audience to a patient's world of confusion and craziness.
The audience of Year 10 students, after the show, provided the acting students with useful feedback on the performance to help them prepare for their evening performance in front of an invited audience and the AS level examiners.
Following the full dress rehearsal, the actors said they felt the performance had gone well and they were grateful of their fellow students’ comments and also the post show
critique from KSA drama teacher, Mrs Amanda Doherty.
The 5 students have been working on the play since January and said they were pleased how it had all come together with the characters, props, lights, sounds and scenery.
