League Win Looms For Cricketers

Our under 15s cricket team is on a real winning streak and their sights are currently on claiming the league title.

Our under 15s cricket team is on a real winning streak and their sights are currently on claiming the league title.
Before half term the team of Year 9 & 10 students played three matches against Monsaye, Kettering Buccleuch Academy and Bishop Stopford School and won all three.
The boys now have two matches remaining to win the league.
KSA PE teacher, Mr William Baines said: “The team is playing really well and have won games against Montsaye, KBA and Bishop and they are to play Corby Technical School and Prince William after half term. The boys beat rivals Bishop Stopford in a close encounter against the side that beat them in the final of the Northants county indoor tournament and if they can win the two remaining games they will win the league.”
This unbeaten side play again tomorrow, Wednesday 8th June and they hope to come away with another win.
The KSA cricketers taking part are: Sam Houghton, Sven Sartain, Ned Wilson, Hamid Hammard, Sheer Ahmed, Callum Stratford, Jordon Skeels, Shaun Smith, Ben Cox, Vijesh Patel and Carter Greetham.

KSA’s under 13 cricket team also played 2 great games against KBA and Montsaye before half term week but unfortunately lost both. Their planned match against Bishop Stopford was rained off.
