Head Boy Joe Smallman hopes to study Human, Social and Political Sciences at Cambridge University.

He has completed his UCAS application, sat an exam and will now take part in an interview next month.

He said ‘I have always been interested in politics. Other universities offer political based courses however the content of this particular course is exactly what I want to study.

‘I have attended many events held by the university itself and this has helped confirm my decision.’

Joe is currently studying A level English Literature, French, History and Maths and is predicted two A*s and two A grades.

He will find out if his application has been successful in the new year. We wish him the best of luck.
