  • A British wheelchair basketball coach spent a day at the Academy on Wednesday and provided more than 100 of our students with a unique experience of the sport.

  • Challenge Opportunities Launched

    An excited couple of days have been organised for our Secondary Phase students next week as they are to be presented with a number of challenge opportunities.

  • Our Year 9 athlete for the javelin did KSA proud as he narrowly missed out on qualifying for the next round of the athletics at the regional championships.

  • A group of our students have been inspired this term to become ambassadors for the school to help their fellow students overcome difficult situations or challenges they might encounter in the future.


  • Debating Experience Enjoyed

    Four of our students said they were grateful of the unique experience they gained from taking part in a debating society competition at Warwick University earlier this week.

  • A sponsored multi-sports challenge was taken on and successfully completed by one of Year 8 students in aid of a children’s charity.
  • The Academy hosted this year’s Carnegie and Greenaway  book prizes’ local shadow reading group event on Monday.

  • Students from across The Brooke Weston Trust enjoyed a great day of cricket at a tournament held at the county ground last week.
