Acts Needed For Charity Talent Show

Three Year 11 students are planning to showcase the best of KSA talent with a variety show in November.

Auditions for the talent show are being held in the drama studio after school on October 12th and the three organisers, Sharon Kawonga, Shanice Davies-Rush and Danielle Fuins, are hoping for a good turnout.

The show will be held at the Masque Theatre in Barton Seagrave and proceeds will go towards Children in Need.

Sharon, who is familiar with the talent show process after she won the town's K-Factor earlier this year, said: "The show is going to be about an hour and a half so I think we'll need about 14 acts. It's a variety show so anyone can audition, whatever their talent. We're also looking for people with a talent that we don't know about yet.

"I think what makes you stand out is confidence, as well as your talent, so that would be my advice to people auditioning."

The auditions are open to all year groups and the girls are also hoping to involve the Primary Phase.

Sharon, a dancer, won the town-wide K-Factor with a pupil from another school. When Sharon's CD failed to work, the other competitor offered to sing while she danced.
