Christmas Treats for the Elderly Thanks to House Efforts

Students have embraced the season of goodwill with generous donations towards Christmas hampers for the elderly.

Each House was tasked with filling two hampers with treats for people who use the Four Season Day Centre in Kettering.

Students, families and staff rose to the challenge and exceeded the original target, with each House filling three or four hampers with biscuits, toiletries, tinned foods, decorations and even hand-made Christmas cards.

Year 9 student Paris Titcombe was among those who donated food and helped to put the hampers together. She said: "We have been going round collecting things to help the older people. They don't work so they might not have as much money for things like this. I brought in some biscuits and noodles - easy things that can be stored in their cupboards."

Thank you to all those families who supported the hamper appeal.
