English teacher Felicity Wallace runs the club, which takes place every Thursday from 3.30pm in the gym. It is open to all year groups and has already proved to be a hit with year 7 students.

Miss Wallace said: "I'm very pleased with the response we've had so far and hopefully the numbers will keep on growing. We're getting a qualified table tennis coach in to help players develop their skills and we're also looking to put on a fundraising event to pay for some more tables."
