Valentino Interviewed on BBC Radio Northampton

A student who produces his own music in his spare time was interviewed on BBC Radio Northampton this weekend.

Valentino Salvi, who is in Year 11, developed an interest in making music through friends. He now uses Logic Pro software on Macs both at home and at KSA to create beats for hip hop, rap and r&b tracks.

A friend he works with contacted BBC Radio Northampton and they were invited along to an interview promote their music. It aired on Saturday night on BBC Introducing in Northampton, which showcases new music in Northamptonshire.

Valentino said: "In my spare time, it's all I do - make music. Whatever I'm doing, I'm listening to music at the same time and I love that I can now create my own music for other people to use.

"It's definitely something I want to pursue and do full-time. I'm hoping to go to Northampton College to study Level 3 music. I would love to go world-wide with my music."

Valentino said he is going to start sending his work to record companies and he has also been uploading his music to SoundCloud.
