The library staff at the Academy are keen to collect all books back in before the end of term.
The librarians are looking for support from families to enable the return of all library books by encouraging the students, at both phases of KSA, to find and return them to the library as soon as possible.
Any books that are not returned by the end of term will be assumed lost, and therefore a £5.00 replacement cost will be charged.
Head Librarian, Heidi Economou said: “Our primary concern is to have books returned to the libraries so other pupils in the Academy may benefit from them.  We will be conducting our annual stock take during the summer holidays so we will be able to confirm if items are not in the library.”
Mrs Economou added: “I hope that parents will encourage their children to do an intensive search at home so that we don’t have to withhold borrowing privileges from anyone and a replacement cost does not have to be charged. If books are located, please arrange for the items to be returned to the library immediately or alternatively forward your replacement payment, with your child’s name to a member of staff in the library.”
