Year 6 pupils from KSA have been visiting the Secondary Phase science department to conduct a series of investigations into the effects of light.
During this term the Primary Phase children have been visiting the school to work on the practical experiments into conductors of light and at same time they have experienced a lesson taking place in the Secondary Phase environment .
Science Teacher at the Secondary Phase at KSA, Miss Louise Oliver said: “They have used mirrors to draw ray diagrams and measured angles to help them identify the Law of Reflection. They have also used different shaped prisms to explore refraction, show how lenses work and to observe the dispersion of white light into a spectrum of colours.”
