History students made a window display for Remembrance Day to pay tribute to those lost in the war.

Year 7 students from 7B1 made posters and pictures to show their respect for the ‘Fallen’ using a combination of graphics and drawings. Students in 9B3 wrote their own poetry using 'In Flanders Fields' by Dr John McCrae as inspiration.

Miss Devine said ‘All the students worked hard to create work to show their respect. I was very impressed with Saffron K for her beautiful poem called ‘Poppies Reeve’.

The display was available for students to view throughout the week and on Friday the school held assemblies for all year groups and staff members.
