A level and GCSE results update
Dear Students,
You will no doubt have seen the government has changed its mind. It will now award all A level and GCSE grades as per the Centre Assessed Grades submitted by your school, or the grades awarded by your exam boards, whichever is higher in each case.
This is very welcome news and means you will receive a set of grades fairly reflecting your work based on information supplied by those who know you best, your own teachers, using a range of evidence as required by Ofqual.
Year 13 students
If you have missed out on your preferred university place but would have secured it with your CAG grades, please monitor announcements from Ofqual and UCAS closely. We suggest you also contact the university directly. If your situation remains unclear and you need further help, please contact us and come into school to receive assistance.
Year 11 students
Please follow your school’s instructions for collecting GCSE grades on Thursday. Staff will be available to support and advise anyone who needs help.
