This year, our Academy is taking part in Physics in Advert, an interactive calendar produced by the German Physics Society.
On Thursday 14th December, at 6pm, BTEC students have organised a ‘Best of British’ concert to showcase Britain’s up and coming dance, drama and music talent.
A group of students from Year 7 visited the RAF Museum at Cosford to take part in a Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths Launch Day.
A group of Year 10 and 11 students visited the nations largest skills and careers event ‘The Skills Show’ at the NEC.
Nearly 50 delegates from across our Trust schools, including from Kettering Science Academy, went to the inaugural meeting of the Leadership Academy, an initiative designed to nurture talent and succession planning.
This year the Academy has raised a total of £1492.53 for Children in Need.
The Academy held three assemblies for different year groups to remember and honour those who sacrificed themselves to secure and protect our freedom.
Today is World Diabetes day and to celebrate we have been lucky enough to have specials guests Michael Pierides, a doctor from Kettering General Hospital and Bob Geodbloed, a professional cyclist with type 1 diabetes, come into school.
An evening was recently held for the current Year 11 students.
Kettering Science Academy students received berets at a ceremony held by the Brooke Weston Trust Combined Cadet Force. The event comprised a Remembrance ceremony and parade. It was attended by parents and senior Trust leaders, including KSA’s Associate Principal Tony Segalini and CEO, Dr Andrew Campbell.
On Friday a group of students from KSA visited Franklin's Gardens, home to the Northampton Saints as part of a Trust rugby trip.
