This week the Academy has been celebrating National Autism Awareness Week. Students and staff have organised a variety of events to help raise money for the National Autistic Society.
KSA have just finished celebrating their annual Book Week. For the occasion, the Academy held many events including a visit from a guest author (Andy Briggs) and lyrical poet (Richard Grant).
Yesterday KSA launched a CAMPS international expedition for current Year 10, 11 and 12 students to visit Kenya in 2018.
Year 7 students are currently learning about flooding as part of the geography curriculum. Yesterday the students were lucky enough to receive a talk and demonstration from the Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service.
On Friday 24th March, KSA will be celebrating Red Nose Day by holding a mufti day. All staff and students can wear their own clothes for a £1 donation.
Yesterday St Mary's CEVA Primary School welcomed KSA’s Sixth Form Science Committee, and science teachers Louise Oliver and Paul Foster, to their British Science Week demonstration day.
Year 4 students from Compass Primary Academy visited Kettering Science Academy on Tuesday to take part in a variety of electricity-based activities as part of British Science Week.
