Tracy McGhie and Emma Palin from the University of Leicester recently visited the Academy representing the Royal Society of Chemistry. They delivered a revision session to our Year 13 chemistry students on spectroscopy, a topic that has historically always challenged students in exams.
International businessman and CEO Mr Paul Murphy gave an inspirational talk on building teams when he delivered a session of the Brooke Weston Trust's Leadership Academy programme, linking the insights gained in his successful business career to the world of education.
We held our first ever ODD SOCKS DAY on Monday, where staff and students alike wore ODD SOCKS. The campaign supported Anti-Bullying week showing that it is good to be different and that everyone is equal and unique.
