Students Unite To Remember War Heroes
A giant wreath to commemorate Remembrance Sunday is now complete.
Students from all five Houses made their own poppy and attached it to the wreath, which will be on display in the Academy.
Each poppy has a message written on it by students which reflects their awareness of the sacrifices made by others.
The messages included:
"All who died are loved and missed"
"From the bottom of my heart I thank you for your sacrifice"
"Thank you for protecting us"
"Come home safely"
"Thank you for sacrificing everything you have to give us a better world"
The wreath also contained messages to great-grandparents who died in action, as well as Desborough soldier Aidan Howell who died at the age of 19 while serving in Afghanistan.
