Busy Open Evening For Sixth Form

KSA’s Sixth Form proved it is a popular destination for Year 11s with a well-attended open evening.

The event on Thursday included a talk by Principal Martin Campbell and Head of Sixth Form Jane Watson.

Pupils were then able to discuss their options with subject leaders and find out what is on offer for them if they decide to stay on.

Families spent time discussing the different courses and what pathways are available at KSA.

One student who went along to find out more was Alice Dainty, who is currently studying at Latimer Arts College.

She said: "I came to find out about the media and English literature courses because I'm hoping to do business, law, media and English. I wanted to see if I could do that combination across the two schools. The media course here looks really good."

Euan Lindley, who is currently in Year 11 at KSA, is hoping to study physics, chemistry, maths and further maths.

He said: "I know the teachers here and the new building looks like it's going to be good.

"There are also quite a lot options to choose from."
