Third Place For KSA Team In District Basketball Tournament
The Year 9 boys’ basketball team came third out of 8 teams following an impressive run in the district basketball tournament.
Players from KSA took part in the tournament at Latimer Arts College on Thursday, January 13th where the team (pictured) beat Prince William School 16-10 followed by a 12-8 win over sister academy Corby Business Academy.
They narrowly lost to Bishop Stopford School, who went on to win the tournament.
KSA's player of the tournament was Tom Martins.
The Year 8 boys' basketball team got off to a winning start to the season, beating The King John School 37-24 in its first game.
The man of the match was Coddy Danso and the team's next fixture is the district tournament at Lodge Park School on Tuesday, January 25th.
